Sales are good

So far, it has been a good year for sales: 2 solid sales, 1 definite commission, and 2 possible commissions. This is the last month as far as the exhibitions go, and I am looking at a busy winter. The metal for a larger Crescent Trinity should be arriving on Wednesday, so I can make a start on that. I would like to get it finished by the end of the month. The one on show at Shaw House—I have decided to make a smaller tower for it; I think proportionally it will look better as the tower dominates the delicate moons.

Once all the sculptures have been collected from their temporary homes, I have an installation up at Burton on Trent. One of my favourite pieces is The Irregularity, a very popular piece at Shaw House too. I am thinking of making a smaller one as with the Eternal Flame and the YinYang. People have often commented that they would love one of my pieces, but their gardens are too small.

Hopefully, I will have more news on the other commissions by then.

No more news on Carfest and the competition.

Thinking I might reduce the price on Celestial Fury. Maybe it was a mistake pricing it at £7,000.0. It is really hard to know how much to charge. Silvi still keeps telling me I am underpricing everything, but for me, as long as I am not losing money, my costs are covered, and I can afford to carry on making and doing what I love, I am happy. Decisions, decisions.

She keeps saying that I should aim for more exclusivity by double or tripling the prices.

There is something to be said about that, as sometimes I see two of the same things online and go for the more expensive version with the thought that cheaper is not always better, as the quality is lower. And with food, that is often the case.

I am thinking of investing in a new, quieter compressor (my neighbours will be pleased) and possibly a new bench polisher, so there goes any profit.
