Playing with fire is always fun. I have tried several nozzles of all shapes and sizes trying to get the right flame for the next dragon so it is a fire breathing dragon.

Size and texture are important as I would like it to be as realistic as possible.

Yes I know Dragons are not real, but I am sure you get my point.

It is turning out to be a lot more complicated than I first thought.

I do have a flame that is close to what I was expecting and it does not blow out in the wind and if it does I think I have that covered by having a permanent ignition system planned.

But I am still thinking I am going to have to use a liquid rather than a gas. The gas will look ok at night but during the day I think it is not going to be visible enough. If i go for the bluer flame it becomes less visible in bright sunshine. Also with liquids you can add chemicals to make the flame coloured. Like methanol and borax give a green flame. I think Strontium produces a red flame and potassium a purple flame.

But using a liquid adds even more complexity and safety issues to the set up.
