I have been working on a medium sized Crescent Trinity that I took on as a commission. It has been going really well and is nearly finished. I am just in the process of tweaking the balance. As usual I thought it was all balanced but after polishing it has changed so I need to add a little more weight to one of the three moons. I have taped a few washers on to get an idea of how much and where to add the weight and keep moving and changing the weight to get what works best in the wind. Thankfully there is plenty of that today. I have learned that static balance in zero wind is fine but does not always translate to working in real life wind conditions, so I like to do a bit of both to make sure it behaves how it should. Also having a slight imbalance helps with the motion.
