The Dragon is nearing completion. Definitely my best piece so far. But ZERO sales increasing debt and no inspiration for anything new. All my friends and family tell me how good my work is, but is it really? No one wants to buy it??? People keep saying how much they love it, but no sales. I am not making stuff for the money but I can not afford to make any more. I would happily sell for the cost of making them, but I keep getting told that I should stop giving my work away. For the last 5 years I have created many pieces sold a few for less than the cost to make them just because I enjoy making them. But I can not afford to make any more. Feeling vey low. Looking forward to the summer though. Off to Scotland in May with a crowd on bikes for a couple of weeks. Looking forward to the Vintage nostalgia festival at the end of May. Off to Spa with some ex race buddies for a few days in June, that is going to be mad. Ex MC racers on bikes. Lots of beer and silly conversations about how fast we were. A few more festivals already lined up for the summer, then my partner and I plan on riding to Italy via France then on to Spain, Portugol and a ferry home. Hopefully I find some inspiration and also get a few sales while out playing.
