Exciting News from the Cotswold Sculpture Park

I am thrilled to share some fantastic news! I have finally made my first sale. After weeks of hard work and dedication, I have received confirmation from Tadd at the Cotswold Sculpture Park. They have sold Edition 1 of The Eternal Flame. This moment marks a significant milestone in my artistic journey.

As I near completion of the second Eternal Flame for the upcoming Altered States exhibition in August, I can’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment. The sale has motivated me to push forward with my creative projects.

Preparing for the Next Creation

Once I return from our bike trip to Scotland at the end of May, I will dive straight into creating a third Eternal Flame. This new piece will be a continuation of my vision, and I am eager to bring it to life. To ensure a smooth process, I must order the necessary materials on my way back home. This way, I can hit the ground running and make the most of my time.

The YinYang Project

In addition to the Eternal Flame, I am also working on the second YinYang sculpture. It is almost ready for display, with just the tower awaiting welding. However, I have just realised that I am nearly out of welding gas. This is a crucial component for completing the piece, and I need to address this issue promptly.

The Importance of Preparation

Preparation is key in the world of sculpture. Each piece requires careful planning and the right materials. As I embark on this next phase of my journey, I will ensure that I have everything I need to create without delays.

Embracing Challenges

Every artist faces challenges, and I am no exception. Whether it’s running low on supplies or managing time effectively, these hurdles are part of the creative process. I embrace these challenges as opportunities for growth and learning.

Looking Ahead

With the sale of The Eternal Flame and the upcoming exhibition, I feel a renewed sense of purpose. I am excited to share my work with a broader audience and continue exploring new ideas.

As I prepare for the next steps, I remain committed to my craft. The journey of an artist is filled with ups and downs, but it is the passion for creation that drives me forward.

In conclusion, I am grateful for the support I have received and look forward to what lies ahead. The sale is just the beginning, and I am eager to see where this path will take me next.
