🏁 Hot Rods, Sculptures, and Studio Shenanigans

The Hot Rod Hay Ride was an absolute blast! As always, I managed to eat and drink far too much. Took a few days to recover, but well worth it!

Earlier this week, I dropped by the Altered States Exhibition to check in on my sculptures and leave a stack of business cards. I also paid a visit to my old workplace — always great to catch up with everyone. It's incredibly satisfying to see my past work still standing strong and appreciated.

Back in the workshop, things have been busy:

🔥 The half-sized Eternal Flame is now complete. I swapped out the solar-powered tea light idea (couldn’t find one small enough) and instead placed a flame-shaped piece of polished brass at the center — and it looks brilliant.

🌙 The Crescent Trinity is finished as well. I may need to tweak the balance slightly, but I’ll keep a close eye on how it behaves over the next few weeks.

Next on the list? A good, thorough shed clean-out — overdue but much needed.

I’ve also got to prep Celestial Fury for a photo shoot on August 15th, followed by its appearance at CarFest. Looking forward to seeing how it’s received!

Until next time — onwards and upwards.
